I'm test driving K-Melon at the moment and it's lightening fast. Needless to say, I like it so far. I'd like to be able to run it in Sandboxie but so far, I haven't suceeded. Each time I try, I get a 'Could not invoke program' pop-up. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a way around it?

Hmm...it may be fast but I downloaded a trojan with it which slipped by Avira Premium and, luckily for me...BOClean caught.
No wonder I couldn't run it in Sandboxie; it replaced FF as my default browser in the sandbox without my knowledge or consent.
Not only that, but it disrupted my wireless setup which kept cutting out...the trojan I guess.
It's off my system and good riddance.
It won't be coming back anytime soon. >:( >:( >:(

I'm wondering now if it did anymore damage.
Have to check.

Take a bow BOClean!
05/06/2007 03:18:29: ZLOB256 MALWARE STOPPED by BOCLEAN!
Trojan horse was found in memory.
C:\PROGRAM FILES\K-MELEON\SETDEFAULT.EXE contained the trojan.
Active trojan horse WAS shut down. System now safe.

Where did you download K-melon from? Do not post a live d/l or direct link to d/l or to any site except possibly the original Authors. But would appreciate the site name out of curiosity.
Edit;Just visited the K-Melon site (http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?id=Download). It is open source. My guess is you d/l`d it else where and that is the source of the trojan. Or a FP by BoClean

Wouldn't like to say out loud but I got it from a major site for geeks.

Am not familiar with your particular error, but the easiest way I've found to run my K-mel sandboxed is to alter shortcut's target to:
"D:\Program Files\Sandboxie\Start.exe" "D:\Program Files\K-Meleon\k-meleon.exe"
Of course, altering paths as necessary, depending where your SandboxIE, K-Mel proggies reside.

Just as an FYI, one of their 'official' DL sites is here: http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?id=Download
(Edit..Oops, I see ThunderZ has beat me to it)
And DO check out their forum: http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/forum/

I always download from the official home website, that is a good habit.

Well. maybe I'll give it another go...I do like the browser. This time I d/led it from the official site and checked with the Dr. Web plug-in for FF.
Hope it doesn't thrash my internet connection.

The real test will be if BoClean ALERTS again. Let us know.

All is well...no zlobs this time. It's really fast on my system and lighter than FF minimised.
I have a problem with it though, I can only get the bare minimun of features to work in Sandboxie and that's a pain. Maybe if I reboot things will work a little better.
I'm going to try that now.
Cheers guys.
Erik, bedankt!
