I am using Acronis Disk Director Server 10 on a new Dell Poweredge with a Perc 5/i RAID card running Win2K3 Standard R2 w/SP2. I've got 6 300 GB SAS drives in RAID5. The Dell henchman give me a tiny 12 GB C: drive and 1.34 TB D: and so I go to repartition the drive but DD thinks that I have -723 GB free space (yes, negative). It complies with my configurations dumbly until I commit the transaction and then DD crashes.
I managed to get around this bug by deleting my D: (thank goodness the server is new and my drives are clean), resizing the C:, and then creating the D: again with the leftover space. This would have been a mess if I actually had files on that second partition. Anyone else encountered this problem and/or found a workaround without deleting partitions?
