Hello.
Recently I upgraded my XP Pro to Vista Ultimate, so I had to say goodbye to some of my security apps, i.e. Comodo Firewall and AVG AS. Is there a good AS that is Vista ready? I've heard about SpywareTerminator or SUPERAntiSpyware. Are they any good? And what about the new Comodo BOClean? Is it Vista compatible (I've heard some rumours about CBOC destroying TCP/IP stack)?
Best regards
koliko
P.S. I run NOD32 as my AV.

Yep, Microsoft's Ultimate Weapon against Spyware. ;)

If Windows Defender detects something, post it here; I've never seen a beta malware.

I'd rather search and remove malware manually then. ;D

IIRC BOClean and Spyware Terminator are Vista ready. Superantispyware is Vista ready as well.

Counterspy works. My buddy has it on a vista machine but it's not free. You can run the trial though.

I've just installed CBOC, and it works perfectly. Yay!;D
Now testing SpywareTerminator and SAS.
If only there were a good firewall!

As far as I understood, BOClean is supposed to be an Anti-Trojan software, although I don't see the difference between Anti-Trojan, Anti-Malware and Anti-Spyware. To me they are all infections. BOClean is based on a blacklist and needs to be updated regularly.

SpywareTerminator is good, vista ready, but 32bit only. Support for 64bit vista to be offered in version 2, I think. (Up to 1.9.115 Beta now.)

New version of Arovax Shield (http://www.arovaxshield.com) is good for that! Also I use WinCleaner AntiSpyware (http://www.wincleaneras.com/) They are both good for Vista!

Spy Sweeper is compatible with Vista 32-bit, as is AVG Anti-Malware (but thats AV+AS, including Ewido engine). AVG AM is also compatible with Vista x64. :)

Both SpywareTerminator and SAS have daily updates which amazes me considering the fact that they are freeware! I'm going to keep them both for now. It seams that they play well with NOD32 and CBOC. Neat! ;)
I'm also going to test Arovax Shield next week, but I am not planning to overcrowd my machine.
AVG Anti-Malware looks fine, but I don't want to replace NOD32 with AVG just in order to get the good AS.
