Hello All,

I have just installed Disk Director 10.2160 and created a bootable CD. When I boot from the CD, it fails to recognize my Hitachi 160GB IDE installed in Ultrabay (secondary drive). At BIOS, it is recognized and offered as one of the boot device. TrueImage 10 also recognize the drive.

Is this a bug?

If you run DD in safe mode does it recognize the drive?
If it does, then it's a problem with the Linux drivers that the full mode uses.

You may want to contact Acronis support to see if they have a fix. I don't know if the same "F11 options" apply to DD as TI, but I suppose you could try them if you haven't (acpi=off noapic, for example).
