Since the latest def. updates of 25/4 were installed scans with Spybot do not complete - the program shuts down right near the end of the scan.
The GUI just vanishes. Some have reported the same problem and seem to think it is due to the advcheck.dll which was installed with the 25/4 sig. updates.
Scans with SAS, AVG AS, and a2 show nothing and NOD32 hasn't alerted to anything. Strangely my wife's laptop, with mostly the same software is not affected. Might have to ditch Spybot, but liked some of it's features.
Any Spybot users noticed this ? (PS. fresh install as well as scan in safe mode does not make any difference - still quits near end of scan.)
