Hi, folks: Interesting article indeed. So these big guys are fighting over their food. They may be good at stealing clients from competitors, but they do not know one thing: a good portion of fleeing clients did not switch to rivals, instead they simply adopted a new strategy of enlisting HIPS, behavior blocker and sandbox/virtualization app. IMO, the pie of those signature-based AV/AS is dwindling, and the infight among them will be out of proportion. The day of apps eat apps is not too far. ;D

Perfect strategy equals VARIETY not all-in-one. If it gets hammered there goes all your security in one easy swoop. Not for the wise.

Why do you think you need all that stuff you have? I have Proxo, ProcessGuard and Avira installed as the scanner ONLY (no real time) and I feel quite protected. But then I police my internet habits. If one doesn't go to porn, gambling or warez sites....one does not need a ton of stuff "protecting" them.

SUITES are the wave of the future....one stop shop one step solution for the masses. Join up with bigger more comprehensive package of protection or die....just that simple. I am not saying it is good just the way it is.
I don't understand the dumping on your competition...bad mouthing and all :P
