Plz Recommand me some AVs on Windows 2003

as title, Plz Recommand me some AVs on Windows 2003.

I don't want Enterprise AVs or Server AVs. All I need is a "Personal" AV or "single Use" AV or "Family Use" AV. And I need it running on Windows 2003.

BTW, Antivir is out. Its C and P can't be installed on Win2003.

NOD32 would be your best bet. Im using it myself and it works well on Server 2003.

I've installed antivir on win2003 before and even tho it does give a warning it still seems to work ok. F-Prot is another AV that works fine on win2003. Another option is to use the win2003 conversion tool to convert 2003 to look like xp, this allows pretty much any av to be installed.

the latest version of antivir wont let you install on win2003 at all.
just tried yesterday. You know I am an Antivir fan I would not look for others if antivir works

thx for the inputs. I may give nod32 a try. I have tried nod32 before but didnt like its interface.

Dr Web works on Server 2003.

It *seems* like both eScan and ZoneAlarm Antivirus, which are based on KAV engine, run on Windows Server 2003 with a few warnings on installation which you can ignore. I gather this from an eScan update log where it says that some bugs with Windows 2003 were fixed, and from several forum threads which say that ZoneAlarm is able to run on Windows Server 2003.

Try these two products and see what happens. :)

trying nod32, its interface is bothering to me

its interface can take some getting used to, i had a hard time at first. but think of this coldplay - after a couple tweaks when installing, youll never have to see the interface again, it is remarkably silent and light on resources. i sometimes forget i have an av installed

That sux. I wonder why they changed that. Oh well it won't effect me anyway, using the conversion tool most software can't tell its being installed on 2003 so its all good.

Gee, that has never come to my mind, I should have tried that. thx for the tips. Maybe I will try that when my trial on NOD ends.

Indeed, I spent like some time to for settings and its all good now, I think I will like nod32 soon.

Yeah i've tested antivir and avg and they work fine after using the conversion tool. I haven't tried any others but i'm pretty sure most would work.
