Hello,
I have Nvidia Motherboard and the chipset has a hardware firewall.
This is supposed to take the load off the CPU.
How effective is this firewall over software firewalls like ZoneAlarm and Comodo? Has this utility been reviewed for effectiveness?
Thanks in advance and regards,
Ravindra.

I dont know if its effective, but it does stealth your computer. its application control consisted of allow/block prompts iirc.
As a side note, don't consider this firewall if your computer makes lots of connection (such as for p2p). It will BSOD.

Hello,
I have tried this firewall - doesn't work well with P2P and games...
Didn't cause BSOD, but it did eat the pagefile like mad.

Hello all,
Its a shame that Nvidia is not promoting it.
Even the common man's awareness is very low.
