Does GhostWall Firewall requires much user intervention?

I'm looking for a firewall which is light. And yet, requires little user intervention. Cuz I'm planning to install this firewall on my parents' PC as they have no idea whether to allow or disallow traffic. So, I'm looking at a firewall which can run on its own and basically don't even require any user intervention.

Honestly, I have no idea whether to allow or disallow certain traffic at times too. Cuz I'm not technically-savvy. So, my knowledge on tweaking and configuration is very limited too.

Does GhostWall Firewall requires much user intervention? Is it suitable to be installed on my parents' computers?

It requires no user prevention so it will be perfect for your parents.

Ghostwall will work straight out of the box with no user intervention required. There are certain apps and games which may require some extra rules. If they are using xp it would be best to just use the xp firewall imo.

One uses XP while the other uses Vista.

May I know how should I configure GhostWall before using it? Cuz I've heard that the default settings (out-of-the-box) are really basic and is about the same as Windows Firewall. If this is so, isn't it better to stick with Windows Firewall? However, I also know that Windows Firewall is not very secure cuz it protects incoming traffic but not outbound ones.

Are there any outbound protection firewall which requires no user intervention?

Also, as GhostWall does not support Vista yet, does anyone have a firewall to recommend which is better than Vista's? And yet requires no user intervention?
