Vista and SSM question

Hi,

If I use a Vista system, would it still be a good idea to complement my firewall with a HIPS like System Safety Monitor? Right now, I'm planning on using the Avira Suite's firewall, which doesn't score well on leak tests. But I know Vista is more protected, so would it still be worth it?

If you would use a HIPS under previous Windows OS, then you should continue to do so (although HIPS for Vista are not common yet).
