Dell PE1950

We use Acronis Disk Director to expand our C: drive when our new servers are shipped to us. It has been working great until we received a new Dell PE1950. When we try to use the Disk Director, it states that there are no drives present. Is there a work around or fix for this error?

Are you using the latest build of TI 10 (2,160)?

Are you doing the resize from in Windows or from the rescue cd?

If you're using the rescue cd, try using Safe Mode and see if that works. Safe mode uses a DOS mode with BIOS to access the hard drives. This sometimes works better on newer systems until the Linux drivers in the Full mode catch up.

Yes we are using the latest. I just tried it in safe mode and it worked. Thanks for the info. It seems to only work in safe mode. because of the drivers like you said I guess. Thanks again.
