EMON and DMON

I think I know the answer to this one, but wanted to confirm:

If I don't use Outlook or Microsoft Office, is there any purpose to having EMON and DMON active? I think the answer's no, but wanted to confirm.

No, however you will not see any difference in disabling these modules.
