They have a new final version ?

New Features
------------

1. Windows Vista is now supported.
Please read "Notes about Windows Vista" in the Product Manual.

2. Pre-boot hook moved from MBR to Boot Sector to allow third-party
boot managers and other MBR modifing applications to co-exist
with FirstDefense-ISR. MBR Backup program removed since MBR is
no longer modified.

Build 202
---------

Version number changed from 1.2 to 3.2 to match Server product.

Fixed problem with bootstrap when restoring Vista archive on XP
system or XP archive on Vista system.

Log Viewer now displays the date in the computer's locale.

Fixed problem in ISRCmd.exe where feedback for a very large file
could cause a divide-by-zero error.

Fixed problem with VSS and ShadowProtect.

Where did you buy FD-ISR? If it's Raxco, you have to wait for their version.

But I could not find a "buy now" button on the leapfrog website >:(

Just threw away money :(

Don't worry, Raxco will release their version sooner or later. :)

Hope So :-\

I cannot use an older version as I use Jetico BC Volume Encryption which modifies the MBR (resulting in conflicts with other MBR manipulating software).
For version 3.20.202 they moved the Pre-boot hook from the MBR.

I have a raxco license too. Usually it takes a couple of months until Raxco update their version. I believe that the other vendor (Bootback?) is a bit faster with updates.
I have downloaded the Leapfrog version since last summer to get the latest version. The betas Leapfrog releases are usually stable enough. The raxco license is good for the Leapfrog too.
If you dont care for support you can uninstall the Raxco version (keeping the snapshots) and install the leapfrog version instead. Thats what I do..

But how will that work, I do not have a serial number or anything.
They just send me link to a full version that does not have to be registered.
Or I have to use a trial for 14 days :(
But than I'm back to where I started.

I already sent an email to Raxco support, let's see what they come up with ::)
Keep U informed.

Install the full Raxco version first and then uninstall it with the option to keep your snapshots your registration info stays and Leapfrog recognizes it.
Take good care of the file you get from Raxco..
90 days after purchase you can not re download FDISR from Raxco anymore, unless you buy a subscription for support. I have five or six copies of my original FDISR file stored on various places after I did a clean install of everything a couple of years after the purchase and found out that if I hadnt kept a copy I would have had to pay for it again. (thank god for Gmail!:) )

Thnx Sukarof !

BTW: you know where I can buy version 3.20.202 ?
I cannot find a "BUY NOW" button on the Leapfrogwebsite ?
At Bootback they also have an old(er) version. :-\

I asked for a refund at Raxco and they confirmed so I can buy the correct version elsewhere 8)

Sorry, I edited my post above after you´ve answered.
Unfortunately you can not buy the latest version before the two vendors update, Leapfrog doesnt sell to the public, but if you do as I´ve explained you will have the latest version always, no need to wait for the vendors.
