Hi,

Before I can download the ESS beta, I've two questions for you, an hope you'll be able to answer me. Here they are :

First, I filled the form about the beta, but didn't receive an e-mail. What is the usual answer time ? Is it an automated system or do people at eset review the data sent by forms ? (or is just my email not functioning  ?)
Then, I'd like to know if the Suite includes a component that acts like an HIPS or not. It seems important to me that it has such a component, because it can help detect new threats by behavior, AND can also give users who know what they're doing to configure things. For instance, to block certain things from accessing startup (like windows media player 11, which would add it's key in autostart if I didn't block it with SSM)Thanks in advance for your answer

I can't comment on the first query as the form is managed by the US office, generally you shouldn't wait too long to get a response.

As for the 2nd query, Eset does not use HIPS - it's Advanced heuristics that performs code emulation and evaluates if it's dangerous or not.

Hi,

still hours after I didn't receive anything, so I'd be glad if someone coule post a link to the installation file or something, because I'd like to test the suite much, but won't be able to if ESET doesn't answer my request....

Did you try to refill it again? I also requested the download link by completing the form but that was before the english version being lunched. I filled the form for the second time, but after the official relase and I recived an e-mail instantly.

There's no need to fill the form more than once... It'll only make things slower.
I got my email about 12 hours after I submitted the request.

Mmmh, seems my ISP didn't allow the message to go though. Using gmail, it worked. Sorry for the inconvenience.
