i downloaded and installed ESS Beta 1. Going through

corrupt file, reinstall reccomended. I reinstalled,
same scenario. Uninstalled, rebooted, ran
CCleaner, rebooted. Re downloaded and installed,
same thing. Help Please.

This must be something fairly unusual, I doubt
that ESET would have let ESS go public Beta if
they had run into this issuue previously. I'm
going to uninstall, run a few cleaners, reboot
a few times and try it again.

Hello,
Have more information about the computing environment you are attempting to install ESET Smart Security Public Beta 1 in would be helpful in determining why the firewall does not initialize. At the very least, a description of the computer, operating system, and other installed software will be helpful in determining what sort of questions need to be asked in order to troubleshoot the problem further and create a bug report.

Please check if the standard registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce actually exists. If it doesn't exist, create it and run ESS installation again.
