Spy Blaster won't start

I installed spywareblaster and when I got ready to use it I got an error meessage that said spyware has caused a general protection fault at module gdi.exe etc. etc., and it won't let me run the program.

What can I do?

I have Windows 95.

I installed spyblaster on my winxp computer and it works fine...but on my wife's winxp computer, it installed fine but it won't start. It immediately crashes. reinstalling or rebooting doesn't solve the problem

oh yah...i checked event viewer and all it says is application hung. and lots of 0's. The error that appears is application failed to initialize....i press ok, it beeps and shows the exact message again...the 2nd OK removes it.

That's very strange.

Have you tried downloading the Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 run-times? It's possible that a required dll is corrupted on your system.
