Hi,
Just testing, but I do have a question. Can I download the full setup of SpyWareGuard if I have Windows XP or do I have to download the minimal version? I would like to have the full version 2.2 ???

It goes very well with spywareguard2.2.

Thank you for your reply and warm welcome. I have SpywareBlaster 2.61 and I really feel protected with it, I like how it works so fast. I do stupid things sometimes, like yesterday. I turned off my firewall to download stationery. :-[ Afterwords I felt so guilty and ran Adaware and it found some bar and I deleted it. Now I need protection from myself. I read an article by Tony Kline and that is why I thought I better try SpyWareGuard. I am self taught and trying to learn, but sometimes I get careless. I really appreciate places like this and all of the help and time the people put in. Thanks again.

Thanks for the karma cookie, too bad I can't give you one back for being so helpful. I have been looking around the forum and trying to get a feel for what is what. This is truly a friendly and informative place, I think I am going to like it here. Just the way you answer the questions of the posters, you are very patient and nice. I will be coming to visit more often and maybe someday I can help someone else. What flavors do the cookies come in? I noticed I am offline and I never left, I see you set a time limit on my cookie, maybe I overstayed my welcome. Thanks again for the cookie.

LOL, I think I recall that when you log in you can accept either a short term cookie that does expire (after 90 minutes?) or you can accept a "permanent" cookie so when you come back on another visit even during another internet session you still remain logged in. So you have a choice of the kind of logon cookie you want to use.

Not the same kind of cookie as a "karma cookie" of course. ;)

FAQ: What is Karma?

Karma is a built-in function within the Wilders Security Forums that allows a person to award and be awarded points for good forum postings.

The karma points (or cookies as some people call them) are listed on the left side of every member post, under their Member ID, Title and Stars. The format looks like this:

Karma: ###

Any member can receive karma at any point while they are a member here once they've made their first post. However, to grant karma to others, you must have a Posts: count of at least 50 in these forums. Once you have made those 50 posts, you will see a new button in the same section of each members posts (right below their Karma: count line) that looks like this:

If you press that button on a person's post, their Karma count will increase by one. Some people call this giving a person a karma cookie.

This is probably why I can't give a cookie to snowbound and HWM. But I will not forget them.

You are at the right forum if SpywareBlaster, SpywareGuard, DocShrubber or BrowserHijackBlaster is the (suspected) cause of your errors.

If you're error is not related to the one in this thread, it might be better to start a new one by using the "new topic" button.
