When I back up a specific folder, and then later try to restore the folder, contained within the newly restored folder are files that were created after the folder was 'imaged'. Am I doing something wrong? I want the folder, upon restoration, to be exactly like it was when it was imaged. This is not happening. I should not see any post-image files once I restore back to the original state. Right?

Iirc, there is an option to overwrite files or not but not an optin to clear out directories before restoring files.
You could delete the files in the target directory before restoring. You could always pull them back fromthe recycle bin if the restore didn't work.

Or you can rename the original folder so that TI doesn't see it during the restore.

And yo might add this to the wish list -- an option on file restores to empty and target directories before restoring.

I make an image of My Documents folder and store it away. Two weeks later I want to revert back to the stored image of the My Documents folder. ATI is unable to do this???? I end up with the original folder as well as any additions that were made to it since the creation of the image??? This doesn't make sense, what is the purpose of making the image if you can't revert back to the exact image?

I wouldn't use True Image to do that. Just copy it using Windows Explorer. If you want to compress it, use the WinZip that is built-in XP.

Ok, thanks. The problem/inconvenience is, I have about ten folders from various applications that I want to save in current form, before I revert back to an earlier image since the earlier image won't have these programs latest information. I have been copying each folder, reverting back, and then replacing each old folder with the currently saved folders. I was hoping to do it all in one process with TI but it appears that is not possible.:'(
