my spyware is keeping me from dl' ing your stuff

I have this weird spyware that keeps changing the website to a search engine everytime that I try to go to a download site. :-\ , its really pissing me off! can any of you help me? ???

Unfortunately, when some types of spyware are already embedded on your system, they do like you've described and prevent you from digging them out easily. Once they get a foot-hold sometimes you have to clean them off using more extreme measures. You probably ought to post a HijackThis log here following this procedure...
