A few days ago i've "shift+deleted" a somehow important folder by accident. Since then i've tried some data recovery softwares such as Ontrack EasyRecovery DataRecovery, Search and Recover, GetDataBack and a few others that I don't remember now, but I couldn't find this particular deleted folder/files.
Do u guys know of a better data recovery software?
Do u know something about EnCase Software?

In my shop I have been able to recover some deleted or lost data with some of the software you have mentioned. The good news is that if the data has gone through the recycle bin retreiving it is usually possible with the afore mentioned software. the bad news is that data deleted through the delete button can be next to impossible to retrive. There are some data retrival companys that can usually get it back. The catch is that you usually have to send them your hdd for them to get at it and it is expensive. Well good luck on getting it back :)
Remember===== backup backup backup those important files. ;)
