Updating problem

Hi,
just noticed my virus sigs were 2150, checked the Eset page it was 2154. Wondering why I didn't get them in automatic, have everything set to Blackspears settings per updating. On pressing the manual update I got a huge download, so I am up todate.

Normally I trust Nod to update its self, now I am not so trusting.

Do you have version 2.5 or 2.7?

After the huge download did you reboot, as in I am wondering if the download was signature based or the upgrade.

using version 2.7.32, have had it since the upgrade. Yes after that large update did a reboot.

Yes mate have got the 2154, I just wondered why it didn't update in auto.

Depends how quickly the updates are released.

If your system updated at 11:00pm to signature database 2500 and then there was a further update made by the developers to database 2501 at 11:15pm, and another at 11:30pm - 2502, and yet a further one 2503 at 11:45pm. Then 1 hour after 11:00pm your system would check for updates and find 2503, at which point it would also bring down 2501 and 2502 (a cumulative update) which brings your system fully up to date.
