Hi everyone,
I've dowloaded a trial version of Acronis True Image 9.1 Enterprise Server.
I've installed on a server machine (in a workgroup).
Is there a tutorial on how to create an image from a workstation over the network ?
The reason why I need this is because I have different PCs with the same hardware/software configurations and I want to create a single image to restore it over the net in case of failures.
Thanks.

Hello effe10,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Remote Server Backup Software (http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/products/ATIESWin/).

Please note that you can find the detailed instructions on how to use Acronis True Image 9.1 Enterprise Server in the respective User's Guide (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/download/docs/).

Basically, to back up the remote computer you will need to do the following:

- Install Acronis True Image Management Console on the server (the machine you will use to manage remote backup\restore operations) and Acronis True Image Agent on the remote computer. Check chapter 2. "Acronis True Image Enterprise Server installation and starting";

- Start Acronis True Image Management Console and connect to the remote computer where Acronis True Image Agent installed. Chapter 4.3 "Managing a single remote computer";

After connection is established, in the central part of Acronis True Image Management Console main window you will see a list of operations available, such as backup and recovery tasks.

In addition, Acronis True Image 9.1 Enterprise Server allows you to create group backup tasks. Check chapter 4.4 "Managing groups of computers".

Thank you.
