I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro P25 running Windows XP Pro.
I stored an archive image to an external USB drive.
Then I removed the 40GB internal drive and replaced it with an
80GB drive. Using the Acronis Boot CD the image retorted to
a 40GB partition without out any problems. Windows also booted
without any problems. A notice popped up that had Windows found the driver for the new hard drive. The next time I booted Windows hangs and started to reboot again. Safeboot also hangs up after about 20 lines scroll by. I tried the whole procedure a second time without success.
I loaded Ubuntu on another partition with loads the GRUB dual boot
software but I don't think that is the problem.
I have TrueImage 8. Can this problem be fixed if I upgrade?
Thanks,
Jeff
