I am just comparing prices of Intel and AMD processors. Maybe I will build one 64bit PC for me soon.

AMD has and edge in price: good dual-cores for less than $150 and cheap quality IGP mobos. Intel has the edge in performance.

And reliability? Intel better as well? Or is it the same?

It´s about the same. Usually, bad mobos/chipsets/PSUs or non-compliant peripherals are the culprits of unreliable systems.
For example, if AMD wouldn´t have reliable processors/platforms, AMD couldn´t be in supercomputers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM_Roadrunner).

ive had no problems with AMD, nor with intel... both fast and reliable.

currently using AMD Turion 64 x2 TL-56 or whatever its called, dual core anyway and it flys.

while that is correct, there are many pentium 4s to compare. yours being of an older generation.

if you state your budget, we could give better suggestions on processors.
