Image to bigger disk

How can I put an image taken of a smaller disk on a bigger one with out it creating a second partition.

Example I have an image of a machine with an 18GB drive and I'm upgrading to a 72GB drive. When I recover image is creates an 18GB partition (C:) and a 54GB Partition (D:).

See chapter 13 of the True Image Home Guide Version 10 for upgrading a HDD by cloning with resizing or Chapter 6 if restoring from an image where resizing is also possible.
