View Full Version : Migrate Easy boot problem

I downloaded Migrate Easy to move data to a new, larger Seagate HD. Cloning seems to work ok, but when I try to boot up the new drive (after switching jumpers etc.) it gets to a Windows XP intro screen and stops. I can't log on (as I do on my old drive) and it won't take me to the desktop. I thought this was a Norton GoBack problem, but after disabling that the same thing happened. Any clues/suggestions?

Actually it's not the same problem at all. I'm using a different product, for one thing; for another, my issue seems to be there whether the old drive is in place or not. I get to a windows xp intro screen, but without users listed or a place to type in a password. And no way of going further....
Still perplexed in PA.
