-{ Quote: "Wondering if anyone knows?" }-I've run User Profile Hive Cleanup Service (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=1B286E6D-8912-4E18-B570-42470E2F3582&displaylang=en) with a broad range of security apps with no problems. If you run classic HIPS apps, I would reboot once or twice in Learning Mode to make sure a rule is created for the executable (uphclean.exe) and, sometimes, for the driver (uphcleanhlp.sys).

I have loaded it on lots of PCs and never had any issues.

I wouldn't be without it. I have used quite a few different security applications since I got User Profile Hive Cleanup Service years ago shortly after getting a machine with XP. I have had no conflicts.
