I think, for the first time has nod32 at av-comparatives not become ADVANCED+ rating.
What you think about that? Should Eset do more on Detection of viruses?
Here are the results:

They missed by only a very small percentage. But they were also only 1 of 2 who got 12 out of 12 on polymorhic viruses. I dont think their not getting the Advance+ is a bad thing either. A good ole gut check never hurt anyone and this will only make them stronger.

This artcle in PCMag said that the only reason NOD didn't get Advanced+ is because AV-Comparatives have stopped including DOS visuses in the standard test.

Looking at history I think that when this was a question in an IQ-test I would go for D: next on-demand test will be advanced+. Hoping to be wrong of course, since I already paid for 2008.

To all:
I'd ask that you please respect IBK's request posted explicitly on his site:
{QUOTE-> Please link ONLY to our main site www.av-comparatives.org and not to the other subpages. It's forbidden to use/provide our test results/documents on other sites without our permission. If you find anything on other sites, please inform the forum/site admin to remove it. <-QUOTE}
Thanks in advance.

A noob question: Where is this AV-C office located? Had an impression it's from Greece while some argued it's from Austria. No big deal but it'd be good to know, thanks.

@The Hammer: No, not hoping anything. Just saw that Nod32 had 2, 1 and 0 times Advanced in 2004, 2005 and 2006 and that looks like an iq-testquestion. How many times will Nod32 get Advanced in 2007? 1 would be the correct answer, but following that logic the answer for 2008 would be 2 so etc...

Thanks for your reply, I also sighted that in his public profile. ;D I seem to have read somewhere that AV-C is based in Greece, but maybe I have a rusty memory here. :wacko:
