Hi all,

New user to NOD32, using v2. To test have on one Win2k Pro machine, 2 win98se workstations. Install worked on one pc, but mine doesn't seem to start up - at least I get an email as admin saying:

The Virus Scanner could not be initialized. NOD32 System modules may not function properly.

also:

11/24/03 14:57:57 PM - During execution of Update module on ERIC computer, the following notification was generated: Error occured while updating program modules (Cannot replace the current file.)

Same settings work on other pc. Tried removing, reinstalling. I do use a config file and local mirror. Tried setting to <choose automatically> for the server and updated manually, same error updating so not the mirror's fault I presume.

Thanks!!

Hi Eric,

this problem used to occur on Windows 98 with NOD32 creating mirror. Please continue as follows:

- turn off mirror creation
- update NOD32
- restart the computer
- turn on mirror creation
- update NOD32
