Hi Mata !
In this thread (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=71724&highlight=port) I see a post of yours where you setup IMON to scan ports 110 and 995 , which makes me think you use a secure connection SSL (port 995) but as already answered by Marcos , it's impossible for IMON to scan encrupted traffic in the Winsock.
So do you use secured traffic (GMail , for example) ?
And by the way , it is not correctly to say/ask "if NOD32 is compatible with Windows Mail" because NOD32 is software independable , IMON scans everything that uses HTTP and POP3 traffic , so no matter what application would generate that traffic , IMON will scan it :thumb:

@mata7
EMON only scans Outlook Messages. IMON scans your POP3 and HTTP traffic (POP3 being the protocol used to download mail from most servers). Go to NOD32 -> IMON -> Settings -> POP3 Tab -> Check Append Tag Messages to Email and Select ALL EMAIL if you want to see messages on every mail that IMON scans.
Hope that is what you are looking for

@mata7
IMON doesn't count how many email messages it has scanned. You will not get a count increase for EMON by mails that are scanned by IMON.

Is Enable IMON email checking in the "POP3 tab" enabled?
When your wife receives mail , can you check it what IMON is scanning?
Does your wife's mail has antivirus scanner on the server?I ask because if not , please send me a PM so that I send you the Eicar test file and you see if IMON will detect it.
