I have a dell hard drive with 3 partitions, aprox 10 gb, 130gb, and 10gb (roughly). I want to split the 130gb partition. I use the wizard and when it boots to resize the partition I get an error something about unable to write.
Also there is a red flag above my partition that I want to split and the other partitions have a green flag above.

If I'm wrong I hope someone can correct me, but I believe RED FLAG = active partition and GREEN FLAG= primary partition. Close all applications modem ect. and try the proceedure again. Often DD10 does not work on the first attempt. Also take a look at BOOTWIZ's log to see what happened during your attempt to SPLIT the partition as it might reveal the reason for the failure. Good Luck.
