I have a Windows Server 2003 SBS running Acronis TI Workstation 9.1.3718 Group Server and Management console. Yesterday I installed update for build 3886 and now I am unable to access the group server from the management console. I am able to access the workstations but when I try to access the group server I get the message "Processing, please wait." and nothing ever happens - I end up having to Ctl-Alt-Delete.
1.) What is the problem and how can I fix it? I installed over the existing version per Acronis instructions (which aren't that detailed). Don't understand what the problem is...

**CORRECTION**
I can connect to the server where the group server is installed - but when I click on Group Status or Group Task management I get the "Processing, please wait."

Can you use Windows Restore to go back to a date before you did the Acronis update - effectively undoing the update?

So there must not be a way to undo the update via Acronis?
How would I do it using Windows Restore?

You can also uninstall True Image and then re-install the older build that you have.
Google Windows Restore to find out how to use that function.

The update over the existing version seems to works OK if just the True Image component is installed. When you start getting into other components (i.e. group server and management console) along with TIW, from my experience an uninstall before installing a new build works much better.

Well, that's good to know. What happens to all my backup tasks if I uninstall and then reinstall to a new build? Do I have to set them up all over again?
An interesting twist here - after my initial post yesterday I rebooted my server again and Acronis was working again - new build and all.

Also - isn't this version supposed to have Vista support? It tells me my Vista desktop is inaccessible.....
