Is there a good memory sandbox program?

I'd like to use find a good sandbox program that writes in the memory. Don't some of them use extra space on the HDD to write down a copy so you don't mess up the original? Wouldn't traces of what you did remain even if it deletes it after each session? I'd like one that uses the the memory so that it can just be 'gone' after I close out whatever program I have sandboxed.

I'm not sure what you mean, but look at SandboxIE, you can clear everything after a session.

Use a LiveCD or BartPE - reboot and all is gone. It's basically the same as what you are wanting. I, too, have often wondered about the security of "deleted" sandboxes, snapshots, and the like. I have used these programs, but always perform a freespace wipe after use, it's just a habit I got into a long time ago.

I think you can associate an eraser to SandboxIE, but not sure. I didn't look for that, but i think i read that somewhere???
When you delete, you'll be erasing too with the associated program.

Thats all well and good but I would like to avoid having to do a free space wipe each session. A memory sandbox would be great for programs such as your browser or a few other more sensitive programs. Not for everything nor everyone since some people don't have that much memory. Yeah I got the idea from those live CD linux distros such as DSL. (Damn Small Linux)

It,s not a memory sandbox. It writes to disk.
I guess u are looking for privacy issue, ShadowUser may be good but even in this case I am not sure if it writes to disk or not during shadow mode.

Personally I will not be so paranoid and if I feel so Live CD is good.
