LInux: Access denied when downloading updates

Hello guys,
Recently I installed NOD32 for Linux. All worked OK. NOD32 was successfully installed, .lic files is also accepted and the username and password in the site is also OK.
The problem is that when I try to update, it connect without problems but files aren't downloaded as it said access denied.
I checked my config file and it contains the correct username and password. No space, no problem, the license details are identical to the email.
Error: Start NOD32 mirror process
Checking remote update packages at 'u20.eset.com'... ok / 3k (100%)
Checking local update packages in '/var/lib/nod32/mirror/'... ok (0 nups found).
Downloading 17 file(s).
Downloading ENGINE0... authorization failed
And many files with same error...
error[256c0000]: NOD32 mirror process failed (Every time I run update, I got a different error number ???


My NOD32 config file looks like: # username = "username"
# Username used in authentication against ESET server.
;username = "correct username"

# password = "password"
# Password used in authentication against ESET server.
;password = "correct password"

My .lic file is in the correct folder and the config file too.

Any idea guys?

I'm quite new to Linux. I'm using Ubuntu 6.10.

Remove the ";"

That's another form of comment in a linux config file. Haven't used NOD32 for *nix before, but knowing linux that would be my assumption.

1. Any specefic reason why you are running NOD32 on linux? Cuz an AV is NOT NEEDED on linux.
2. Yes, as covaro mentioned, remove those semicolons. :)

Thank very much for both. Now worked. I'm very happy.
Now on-access module. Dazuko installed and I can't get this working. I think I'll contact Eset directly.
Again, NOD32 Scanner and Update modules working OK. :);)

I have to chime in here - NOD32_user is spot on - there are threats on *nix machines - lots and LOTS of them. Running a hosting company, we're constantly running security scans and watching out for new exploits which could be used to gain access to our machines. Various open-source forums etc, are used on an almost continual basis to ATTEMPT to exploit our web machines, mySQL buffer overflows, form-mailer scripts and the like are all hammered on a seemingly continual basis by bots and script-kiddies attempting to install rootkits and ircBots on our machines. This isn't a new battle, and any help is a good thing!

^^ Yup.. An AV might be needed if you are running a server or something like that.. But IMHO, its not needed for a desktop user :)
