Well, I've finally bit the bullet and successfully cloned my system, C drive, to a larger HD. However, one of things that gave me cause for hesitation before doing this was all the dire warnings about what would happen if you rebooted without removing the new system drive.
Now that I have done it, I feel that Acronis needs to strengthen the warnings on this subject. I may have missed something, but chapter 13 of the manual does not seem to address the subject. When you start the cloning wizard there is a warning about removing the new, cloned disk before rebooting. However, this is not emphasised and had I not, as it were, been sensitised to the topic I could well have missed it. When cloning is finished there is another warning but, again, without any emphasis.
What I feel is needed is a highlighted paragraph in Chapter 13 of the manual and, during the wizard, something with bells, a siren and flashing lights around the appropriate sentences (OK, just bold them and increase the font size :) ).
