I noticed this morning that I had an error on my PC where BOClean had crashed with the following information:

BOClean has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Error signature
AppName: boc422.exe AppVer: 4.2.2.2 ModName: boc422.exe
ModVer: 4.2.2.2 Offset: 00017f1f

Tried re-launching and it immediately crashed again. Has anyone else seen this problem?

I just emailed support. I have to go to work so I'll check back later this evening.

Kevin got woken up to fix a corrupted file after a damaged drive on our server, the file was replaced and the problem solved a few minutes later, however there were a few who happened to hit our server between the time the bad update file was posted and the time where our people spotted and corrected the problem. Their BOCleans crashed.

Given the rarity of our SERVER hosting a corrupted file however, there was no easy solution. I don't recall this particular problem ever happening before. Your BOClean would say "you already HAVE the latest update" despite the file being corrupted and so we had to take some time to generate a NEW "intraday" update which includes a few new nasties covered because of this problem in simply telling anyone to update BOClean again. In this situation, we had to "bump" the update with a new file and timestamp to ensure no problems for the user. Sorry.

If yours crashed, give this a try ... go to the start menu, programs and then into the "BOClean" grouping. In there, you should see an item marked "Updater" ... click that and see if you can get it to download a BOClean update, then try BOClean again ... should work.

This is only one of the reasons that make Boclean a winner, and worth every cent that you'll pay for it.

Ive been having the same problem since ive installed vista 32 bit over a month ago, soon as ati catalyst control panel loads at startup bo clean crashes.

Only way i can overcome this problem is disabling start up of ccc panel and theres no problem.

Iam still having the crashes as of today even with the update and a reinstall of bo clean

Iam using it with superantispyware and kaspersky internet security, should i still be having the crashes or is bo clean not vista compatible.

thanks

Not officially, 4.22.002 was released a long time before Vista was, it may work on some Vista installs, but not all.

Installed Boclean today, after first getting used to Windows Premium .. But since the install, Boclean stops working and my validated Windows isn't validated anymore .. :(

Is anybody else experiencing this? Or is there a fix to get Boclean to work properly?

Thanx in advance
