Ok here is the deal. I use acronis TrueImage Home 10. Before few weeks I made myself a backup of my whole Local disk C. I backed everything up to my External 250Gb hard drive which is FAT32. Now my system got messed up so I wanted to back it up. I checked the folder where my backup is and I am really confused. I have 3 backup files in there, one 4gb, another 4gb and third one has 2gb. Why do I have 3 files? How should I restore the backup now? Should I just restore first one then second one and then third one? Is it because my external hard disk is FAT32? What should I do? Please I need urgent help, my system is messed up. Thank you very much for replies.

Yes, it is because your external is FAT32 which has a maximum filesize around 4GB. TI knows this and automatically splits the archive tib files so they fit properly.

To restore just click on any one of them in the Restore Wizard and TI will know they are all part of the same archive. (I always select the first one just because it seems the thing to do.)

Suggest you select the option to validate the archive before restoring. If it fails during the restore you will have nothing because TI wipes the partition before restoring.
