when installed my acronis, it never asked me for serial, so where is the option to put it in on the program, i cant find it.

1)didn't you downlaod the demo by mistake?
that has no such feature...

2)maybe it retained the code so you don't need to input it anymore

My guess you are installing the trial version of TI which is not the same as the licensed version. In other words, putting in a license number does not unlock crippled features. You need to download and install the full version from Acronis if this is what you are doing.
