Hi All,

Could some kind person tell me if there is an easy way to transfer Cassette tapes to disc please. Does it require some kind of compression software?

And also, since my crash, I'm sadly lacking in Clipart now, any ideas as to where I can d/l from that don't send you round in ever decreasing circles and then don't come up with the goods!

Regards, Cochise, 8)

Ownlee Meee,

Could I refresh my request for this information please.

May I also add why I want this info, I have tapes of my Uncles WW11 memoirs of Anzio and Monte Cassino etc., and I also have numerous tapes of village life recorded by people some of who have since died.

I would obviously like to put these on Disc for safe keeping but I don't have the know-how exactly. I have read several articles on the subject but none seem to apply to my situation.

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA Regards, Cochise, 8)

Hi Cochise, i checked out a few clipart/animation sites, and these were some i thought not as confusing to look through. It's the columns that are on the pages that you have to look over carefully to see which one's belong to that particular site, and which one's are links to other clipart sites. LOL They do like to give LOTS of choices don't they...sometimes, too many.

Maybe you can find some here to bookmark. And if you do find something you like but need it resized or cleaned up (some of the older clipart is pretty bad)..send me an IM with a link to the one's you want, and i'll see if i can fix them up to something you like. :)

http://www.gifworld.com/ (clipart category is the middle column)

http://www.aaaclipart.com/ (clipart categories are on the left-side menu)

http://fantasy.lacefairy.com/Fantasy.htm (the non-javascript page)

If i come across anymore that are not too dazzling with links and banners flashing, i'll post them. ~smyle~

Have fun!
