Of course you can run NOD32 on laptop , on any Windows and Linux machine you want . You need a firewall with NOD32 and nothing more (you can use the built-in Windows Firewall or any other 3rd party firewall) . Free trial version here (http://www.eset.com/download/) . Remeber that you must run only one antivirus in real time , which mean you should remove any other antivirus previously installed :thumb:

I prefer Windows Firewall . I also like ZoneAlarm (but I don't recommend its latest free version 7 which obvioulsy installs something more than the firewall) . You can also try Outpost .

You can install NOD32 and use it with Windows Firewall (temporary if you don't want Windows Firewall) . Then you can post in Wilder's forum for firewalls http://www.wilderssecurity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=31 for more info about firewalls :)

NOD32 runs beautifully on my dell notebook with wifi. If you want a no hassle setup then nod32 + windows firewall is great. Otherwise you can try comodo or zonealarm firewall.
