Resident Shield question

Hi All!
I have activated my resident shield, & now on the status screen showm that there are 5 malware detected so far, are this means that those malware are deleted from my PC, or I need to remove them manually.

That is what AVG guard has blocked since you have activated it.

If the Guard finds something serious you will get a pop-up giving details and requiring action. If the only notification is in your GUI 'Detected Malware so far' section, then it will probably be tracking cookies that were found (if you have that option enabled for the Guard); these are automatically deleted and do not generate pop-ups, reports, or appear in quarantine - they are silently removed. Just set your malware counter back to zero and that way you can take note of when new trackers are found.
