Hello Hitman3266,
Unfortunatly a firewall cannot protect data that as left your PC. A sniffer can easily intercept comms within a network. The only way is to encrypt data sent/ received. This can still be intercepted on a network, but will not be understood if encryption is good.

so sites using https, they cant be sniffed cause its encrypted correct? or they can be sniffed but the data will be useless, yes?

Hi Hitman3266,
The sniffer can still intercept, but yes, the data is encrypted.

You should take look at the "Privacy Related Topics". This should give you info on what you are looking for. A good starting point would be this thread (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=44764)
