"It's horrifying!" says Richard Eaton, who develops, markets and even answers the technical help line for WinWhatWhere software. His qualms haven't stopped him from selling the product, though - more than 200,000 copies of it - to everyone from suspicious spouses to the FBI.

TDS does detect this version WinWhatWhere 4, and the previous, version 3

As indicated in that article, proper, full removal instructions will be given on request to the author, so those intentionally installing W3i can ignore the alerts
