I recently purchased a copy of FD-ISR. I am running the following setup:

Asus A8N SLI Deluxe Mobo
Athlon 64 3500+
2 GB RAM 4x512
2 80GB HD in Raid 0 (Using NVIDIA nForce4 Serial ATA RAID Controller ONBOARD)
NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS
Windows XP Pro SP2

While I am idle or away from the PC, I come back to find that my PC is frozen and locked up, this requires a hard reboot and about 2 min of frustration.

A friend of mine recommended that I try this software to see if a reformat of Windows corrects the problem. I have not had a clean install of WinXP in 2 years. There are 3 profiles being used and I am a gamer.

My question is this...

I created an empty snapshot, I boot to it, I have my WinXp disk in drive, my problem is I do not know how to avoid formatting the PC. I am prompted to choose partitions during the WinXP Blue Sceened setup. I choose the newly created empty snapshot, then it asks me what file format I want, NTFS or FAT32.

Here is my actual question...LOL:

If I choose the file format during the install, is that going to erase my original RAID0 Partition? Or is it normal for the install of XP to format a new snapshot for either FAT or NTFS????

I would love to know, I am afraid of losing all of my data!

Hi Drayne

Welcome to Wilders. Yes formating will erase your whole drive. See this:

I am not given any option other than to choose NTFS or FAT32 during XP Install...So I guess this program wont work.
