Unhide Folder

sorry newbie problem

i previously when i hide a folder, the folder becomes "transulent".
Now it gone..... even TOOLS>FOLDER OPTION >VIEW >SHOW HIDDEN FILES is check

i can only view it at DOS using dir/ah...
how to revert back?

problem solved...
it is due to improper uninstall of FreeHideFolder software....

i was thinking to use attrib -h ....
