I post here as a last chance for a sort of trivial question about my HP 8080 notebook which found no answer during last year:
after a BIOS and Video card upgrade from HP i noticed that in
controlPanel>Screen>Settings>Advanced>Monitor
the Type of Monitor of my ATI X-600 video Card is set on
Generic TV
the two other options being 2-Monitor Plug and Play 3- Predefined Screen.
I never used the notebook to make a TV link and i noticed my other pcs were set on 'Screen' or 'Predefined Screen'.
My notebook works fine so its just a theoretical question,but - even if its not a pc but a notebook- i tend to think it should be 'Screen' and not 'TV' set, or am i wrong?
