nCleaner - http://www.nkprods.com/ncleaner/

Was recently released as Freeware and i must say has more options than any other freebie i've used.

-registry cleaning with backup and secure disk wiping are just a few of the features. Give it a try and let us know what you think.

CCleaner is history on my machine.

Yeah, I agree, butt-ugly UI. I'll tell ya what though... It cleans much deeper than Ccleaner. Highly configurable... I just did a cleaning and it cleaned 29M of useless stuff. I'm not going to try the reg cleaner, I'm satisfied w/ what I use.

You got that right:thumb:

The secure free space wiper has 4 settings - Random, DOD 3 & 7 Pass and finally for those that relish it, 'Gutmann':o

Just tried it out, it certainly does clean very deep. I think we may have found the winner of the worst UI ever award lol.

Btw, it´s mainly the "home section" which looks awful, the rest of the app looks acceptable, don´t need it though. ;)

Hi there,

I tried it: GUI, shredder and tweak options are bugged. Contacted the developer, they promised to fix it a.s.a.p.
So I will wait and try it again because this free ( if working fine ) cleaner is excellent.

Hi there,

if you looking for an excellent cleaner that also wipe / eraser
what it cleaned / deleted immediately than try R-Wipe and Clean 7.0 from www.r-wipe.com.
Read carefully the home page what this amazing cleaner/wiper/shredder is doing and compare it to other
cleaner like Ace Utilities, Tracks Eraser Pro, Privacy Eraser Pro, East Tracks eraser and so on.
To my knowledge only the expensive Shred Agent wiped / shredded / erased after cleaning / deleting your activities.
The new free nCleaner looks great, BUT is it reliable????
Check it out !!!! and discuss it here.

Hi, folks: I think it is fair and safe to say that we can not judge a software app simply by its look, we need to feel it to see how well-built it may be. Currently i am using East-Tec Eraser 2007, one of the tops in its calss perhaps, and i am willing to give this new freeware a good test run. Is it reliable as previous post has asked, let us find out. Have a nice one. :)

I tried this and found it to be highly suspect - is this program for real ?
