View Full Version : Issues with SBS Server 2003 and True Image 9.1 Enterprise

Hi,
I'm currently evaulating "Bare-Metal" Recovery options for my company (and as such my clients)

I was drawn to the "Universal Restore" Option with Acronis, it seems to perform exactly what I want to achieve.

Anyhow, One of my Clients Server's is having issues at the moment, so I thought it might be a good test case for using Acronis.

Currently I have created the TIB Image File (With an image of C: & E: Partitions) (C: Single Drive - E: Raid 1 Dynamic Disk in Windows)

This Image File appears fine, and verifies and restores fine (without the Universal Restore option)

However when I load the CD Boot Disk for TI with Universal Restore, it states to me correctly that it is the True Image Trial with Universal Restore Trial (I haven't purchased Universal Restore as yet as I want to ensure it works)
Yet.... There are never any "Universal Restore Options" during the Recovery Steps in restoring the information to the Server.

All I get at the end of selecting Drives & Partitions is the standard "Verify Data File after Backup" Menu...

Any Ideas or Solutions would be very appreciated...

P.S: I'm Restoring to a 3Ware Raid 5 SATA Array from a USB 2.0 External HDD(Standard Restore worked and restored to the New Server fine, with the obvious Errors that occur due to different Raid ete)
