Hello

I've just installed the acronis TI Home ver. 10 and everything work fine.
I've done an entire backup of a hdisk partition to a DVD and the file is ok.
However, when the xp boots from the acronis bootCD I can "see" all the hard drives and partitions, but I can "see" no DVD drive where is the file for restore...

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Semantic (and somewhat irrelevant) point - The boot CD is Linux/DOS not XP.

I suggest you raise a support request in case this is a driver issue.

In the meantime you might want to ensure you have a working disaster recovery system by :

a) storing your backups somewhere which can be read by your boot disk (like a second harddrive)
b) Look at burning a BartPE recovery disk, which will be able to see your drives if Windows can.
