On my "experiment" Hard Disk the "COPY PARTITION" operation failed and I could not boot into the new partition W/ XP bundeled software. OS SELECTOR simply could not boot into this partition (this on Jan 11). So I put it aside untill today (I was possessed with determination to try to activate this copied partition). IT ONLY STARTED WORKING WHEN I BOOTED IT FROM WITHIN WINDOWS! After this to verify I installed a small program to differentiate it from its clone and it was NOW ABLE TO BOOT ON START UP! Finally I have a "work-around" INSTALLING A COPY OF THE FACTORY RESTORE SOFTWARE!! (previously the restore disk only reinstalled itself and wiped out the resident "Factory Restore" software). Actually it is better than the resore disks since it also copied all applications,SP2, settings and browser (which I an using now). Finally I feel I have gotten my 49 dollars worth. Now I may buy TRUE IMAGE 10 as my next project.
